Job summary

Topgolf is hiring hourly Bar Back roles at our Greensboro, NC location. We’re seeking fun-loving teammates who thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative hospitality environment and who enjoy creating memorable Player experiences.

Responsibilities include supporting bartenders, keeping the bar stocked and clean, and maintaining safety and sanitation while embodying Topgolf values: Fun, One Team, Excellence, Courage and Caring.

Qualifications

• Hourly positions in hospitality/entertainment.
• Must be customer-focused with a positive attitude.
• Hospitality or entertainment experience is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Support bartenders by ensuring they have everything they need to keep drinks flowing.
• Create a fun, seamless experience for Players.
• Keep bar stocked with liquor, mixers, garnishes and ice; stay organized.
• Clean glassware and equipment and collect empty glasses and bottles.
• Collaborate with bartenders and Playmakers to ensure smooth service.
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards; uphold Topgolf values.

• Ability to Thrive in a Popular Environment – Keeping calm when things get popular is where you shine.
• Previous Experience in Hospitality or Entertainment – This is simply a plus, NOT a must. We all must start somewhere!

What you will do in the role

• Support the bartenders by ensuring they have everything they need to keep the energy high and the drinks flowing.
• Create a fun and seamless experience for our players.
• Keep the bar stocked with liquor, mixers, garnishes, and ice, while maintaining a clean and organized area.
• Clean glassware, equipment, and utensils and collect empty glasses and bottles to keep drink service running smoothly.
• Work alongside bartenders and other playmakers to ensure service runs like clockwork, contributing to unforgettable player experiences.
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards, keeping the bar clean, safe, and compliant.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and Move Things – You’ll be handling items up to 50 lb., so being comfortable with lifting, bending, stooping and carrying things is key.
• On Your Feet – Expect to be on your feet for most of the day, so a love for walking throughout your shift.
• Active Tasks – From task to task, you’ll be constantly engaged in a variety of physical activities.
• A can-do attitude is essential!
• Endurance – Whether it’s a long shift or tackling a task that takes time, we’re looking for someone who can keep up the pace in a high-volume working environment.
• This role requires that you must be at least the legal serving age in the jurisdiction of employment and retain necessary certifications in responsible beverage service where required by law.
