Position Summary:

Stocks bars, stations, and coolers. Maintains liquor and bar storage rooms. Keeps a clean, orderly, and well-stocked bar.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Replenishes bar supplies, including liquor, beer, CO2, ice, glassware, and consumables during shifts to ensure guest satisfaction.
  2. Maintains the appearance of bar and lounge areas by cleaning, resetting, and stocking supplies.
  3. Washes glasses and utensils following sanitation guidelines, operates dishwashers, and stores items properly.
  4. Disposes of recyclables and transports soiled barware to stewarding areas.
  5. Follows all food handling, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
  6. Wears appropriate safety footwear, reports safety issues, and complies with OSHA and HAZMAT policies.
  7. Arrives on time and maintains scheduled attendance.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Completes pre, during, and post-shift side work.
  • Reports unsafe conditions, maintenance needs, and accidents.
  • Handles guest complaints within scope or refers to management.

Qualifications:

  • Prior bar experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of food, beverages, and service standards.
  • Knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits.
  • Strong communication, discretion, and guest service skills.
  • Ability to perform basic math and interpret instructions.
  • Flexible schedule including holidays and weekends.
  • Must be at least 21, complete TIPS training, and obtain a Food Handlers Card within 30 days.

Skills & Demands:

Requires standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and working in various environmental conditions. Visual and sensory acuity needed for safety and quality assurance.
