Job summary

Kroger is seeking a Safety Coach in Irving, TX to coordinate behavioral safety, BAPP and compliance initiatives across the plant. You will liaise with manufacturing associates and management to address safety matters and support the site’s Safe Quality Food (SQF) goals and Customer 1st strategy.

Responsibilities include leading safety programs, data tracking with RINCON software, facilitating committees, and coordinating JSAs and training.

Qualifications

Must have leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong communication and organizational skills required.
Experience coordinating safety programs and trainings.
OSHA familiarity and safety compliance knowledge preferred.
Experience with data tracking and safety auditing is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead behavioral safety and BAPP processes.
Enter and retrieve data using RINCON software.
Facilitate Safety Committee and BAPP steering meetings.
Enter work requests into the EMPAC system and update safety orders weekly.
Present data in plant-wide and department meetings.
Prepare safety data for diary notes and reporting.
Support development of Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) with Training Coordinator and managers.
Schedule safety training for new hires and observers.
Participate in OSHA audits and action planning.
Apply behavioral analysis to train associates and reduce at-risk behavior.
Ensure compliance with SQF 2000 and safety policies.
