Invited Clubs is seeking a Banquet Supervisor to oversee all aspects of banquet operations and ensure an exceptional member and guest experience. You will manage setup, service, breakdown, staffing, and safety compliance while upholding Invited service standards.

The role involves direct interaction with members and team members, training staff, and coordinating with the Event Sales Director to ensure flawless private functions and on-time event execution.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 2 years of experience in restaurant, banquet, or club-related F&B.
• Preferred certifications: Food Handlers' Certificate, Alcohol Safety, TABC, CPR, Food Safety, and HFWACT.

Job Summary

The Banquet Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of banquet operations, ensuring smooth execution of events and exceptional member and guest experience. This role involves managing the setup, service, and breakdown of banquet functions while maintaining Invited service standards. The Banquet Supervisor will work closely with the banquet team, ensuring proper staffing, coordination, and compliance with safety and service guidelines, while directly interacting with members, guests, and team members to deliver a seamless and high-quality event experience.

Reporting Structure

• Reports to the Banquet Manager, Banquet Director or Director of Food & Beverage

Day To Day

• Recruit, develop, and performance manage banquet service personnel according to club procedures.
• Implement and facilitate training programs, including service training, to maintain welltrained staff in-line with Invited service standards, driving service excellence, member satisfaction, and retention.
• Communicate with the Event Sales Director during event preparation to ensure proper staffing and seamless execution of private functions.
• Review banquet event orders (BEO's) and daily logs to understand function details, ensuring room setups correspond with function sheets and making necessary adjustments as required.
• Oversee the timely service of food and beverages, ensuring adherence to Invited standards of service and quality.
• Monitor events to ensure food is served on time, communicate with the event host postevent to confirm their satisfaction, and collect payment, completing necessary accounting paperwork.
• Manage room breakdown and setup based on event details outlined in the function book.
• Execute opening procedures for the banquet department and ensure the room is prepared according to event standards.
• Record relevant information in the MOD log for the next shift.
• Provide a warm welcome by greeting members and guests by name and ensuring their needs are met throughout the event.
• Ensure all side work is completed, including maintaining clean and organized work areas, refilling and stocking containers and supplies, and ensuring sanitary conditions as outlined in the Service standards.
• Interact professionally with members and guests, accommodating changes and last-minute requests as needed.
• Complete additional duties as assigned by management.

Additional Duties

• Due to the dynamic nature of the club, employees are expected to assist others as needed and take on additional tasks as assigned by management.
• Follow all company, club, and department policies, procedures, and instructions.
• Represent the company's management team by supporting and enforcing policies while maintaining the highest standards of ethics and integrity.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and a commitment to excellence in interactions with members, colleagues, and staff.
• Promote and follow safe working practices, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and encouraging others to do the same.
• Take the initiative in personal and professional growth and maintain any required certifications relevant to your role.
• Address and resolve challenges using available resources, working with regional and corporate teams to support club operations.
• Support the overall efficiency of the team by collaborating and contributing to the club’s goals.

Required

About You

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the restaurant, banquet, or club-related field within the food & beverage industry.

Preferred

• Preferred certifications: Food Handlers' Certificate, Alcohol Safety, , TABC Certification, CPR Certification, Food Safety Program, and HFWACT.
• Completion of Food Safety and Alcohol Safety training.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand, walk, and perform physical activities for extended periods.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments, with potential exposure to dust, fumes, or gases.
• Capable of climbing ladders, squatting, kneeling, reaching, grasping, twisting, bending, and folding/unfolding as required.
• Able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 lbs. occasionally.
• Effective communication skills, including talking and hearing, with sufficient visual acuity.

Work Schedule

• Attendance requirements for this position as outlined on the weekly schedule.
• Additional hours are required to meet deadlines of the position, including weekends and/or holidays.
