Job summary

The Hilton Bellevue is currently hiring a Full-Time Banquet Houseperson in our Banquet department. You will set up rooms, move tables and chairs, and maintain cleanliness of event spaces while delivering outstanding guest service.

This role requires reading room diagrams, coordinating with event planners, and responding quickly to requests. A flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays is expected; prior banquet or hotel experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read English and follow written instructions.
• Ability to lift/push/pull/carry up to 60 lbs frequently.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables, chairs, staging and dance floor per diagrams and resumes.
• Assist with banquet table settings and quick clearing of dirty items.
• Safely deliver carts of dirty dishes/flatware/glasses to kitchen for washing.
• Tear down equipment after events.
• Maintain cleanliness in event spaces and storage areas.
• Read room diagrams and event resumes to set up spaces.
• Interact with staff and event planners and respond to needs.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
