Job summary

Spire Hospitality, LLC is seeking a Banquet House Person to support the banquet team at our Lake Placid venue. This on-site role involves setting up and breaking down meeting spaces, coordinating AV equipment, and maintaining a clean, ready-to-use environment for events.

Essential duties include transporting equipment, restocking refreshments, and addressing guest requests while adhering to health standards. CPR/First Aid are preferred, with hospitality experience valued.

Qualifications

• CPR Certification and/or First Aid training preferred.
• Prior hospitality experience preferred.
• Additional language ability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up all meeting rooms to the specifications of the guest, including AV equipment.
• Transport heavy materials such as staging, tables, chairs, and dance floors from storage to meeting rooms.
• Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and fresh water.
• Break down meeting rooms after events and reset for the next function.
• Maintain cleaning schedule for meeting rooms and ballrooms to keep rooms presentable.
• Perform general cleaning tasks per supervisor and health standards.
• Assist with spills or special guest requests.
