Job summary

The Bartolotta Catering & Events team is seeking a Houseman to support banquet operations across Milwaukee venues. You will help with setup, transport of equipment, and ensuring spaces are ready for weddings, corporate events, and galas.

You’ll collaborate with guests, kitchen staff, and event teams to deliver seamless experiences. Ideal candidates are reliable, detail-oriented, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and take down of Banquet Rooms according to function specifications.
• Confer with guests and clients to determine event requirements.
• Assist in transporting heavy materials such as staging, tables, and chairs to the event space.
• Check and appropriately adjust temperature and lights and ensure electric hookups are working.
• Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the areas during and after events.
