Job summary

Quorum Hospitality seeks a Banquet Porter for Hilton Garden Inn Kauai Wailua Bay to help deliver memorable events. You’ll set up banquet spaces, assist service, and ensure clean, timely breakdowns, while anticipating guest needs.

Responsibilities include preparing setups per specifications, refilling and restocking, and staying informed on event details and dietary restrictions. Full-time positions include health benefits, a 401(k), tuition reimbursement, and travel discounts.

Qualifications

• Prior banquet experience in a hotel or restaurant preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Unexpired Alcohol Awareness Certification and Food Handlers Certifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare banquet setups according to event specifications.
• Support the team with serving, refilling, and restocking as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the space throughout the event and break down the room at the end.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide prompt, friendly service.
• Stay informed about event details, special requests, and dietary restrictions.
• Other duties as assigned.
