Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group invites applications for a Banquet Setup Attendant at Ellie and DT Myrtle Beach. You will read diagrams, set up tables, A/V equipment, and assist with buffets and bar areas for events.

The role is part-time with flexible hours; prior hotel/restaurant serving experience is preferred. The position offers a supportive team, opportunities for growth, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School education is required.
• At least 1 year in a hotel/restaurant serving role.

Responsibilities

• Read and execute meeting/dining room diagrams for spaces, indoors and outdoors.
• Set up and arrange tables, A/V and equipment according to the diagram.
• Assist in setting and breaking buffet tables and bar during and after an event.
• Set a room with F&B equipment and arrange buffets, stages, and podiums.
• Help servers complete their tasks, including plating, running items to bars, and setting up beverage stations.
• Maintain cleanliness of all public areas and assist servers with bussing tables.
• Exhibit teamwork and leadership to ensure efficient event setup.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ability to read and execute meeting/dining room diagrams for spaces, indoors and outdoors.
• Complete the physical set up and arrangement of tables, A/V & equipment according to the diagram.
• Assist in setting and breaking buffet tables and bar during and after an event is completed.
• Assist in setting a room with F&B equipment.
• Arrange buffets, stages, and podiums.
• Help servers complete their tasks, which include: arranging plates, running items to the bars, and setting up beverage stations.
• Maintain cleanliness of all public areas including lobbies, parking lots, smoking areas, and public restrooms, and assist servers with bussing tables.
• Exhibit teamwork and leadership to ensure that the event is setup in an efficient manner.
• Perform various other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of High School education
• Minimum of one (1) year in hotel/restaurant serving role
