Job summary

Shamin Hotels is seeking a Banquet Houseperson in Florida to support event setup and breakdown. You will prepare banquet spaces, linens, and equipment per event orders while ensuring clean, safe, and presentable venues for meetings, weddings, and conferences.

Responsibilities include timely tear-down, storage of items, and assisting the team during busy periods. A high school diploma and prior banquet or hospitality experience are preferred, with ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work varied

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Experience in banquets, events, or hospitality preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms per BEOs, including tables, chairs, linens, staging, and A/V equipment.
• Break down and clean banquet spaces after events and store items properly.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are clean, functional, and stored correctly.
• Respond to guest requests promptly during events and coordinate with team for smooth execution.
