Job summary

DoubleTree by Hilton Nashville Downtown is seeking staff to support meeting room setup and cleaning duties in a fast-paced hotel environment. The role requires physical activity including lifting and transporting tables, chairs and equipment to prepare rooms for events and conferences.

The candidate will assist with maintaining cleanliness, restocking supplies, and addressing guest requests while upholding health standards and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of equipment and setup styles used in meeting rooms.
• Ability to understand verbal English
• Ability to lift/move tables, chairs, podiums up to 80 lbs.
• Can move goods up to 500 lbs with hand cart/truck.

Responsibilities

• Set up all meeting rooms to guest specifications, including transporting tables, chairs, dance floors, etc.
• Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and water.
• Break down rooms after meetings and return items to storage.
• Maintain cleaning schedule for meeting rooms and ballrooms.
• Perform general cleaning tasks per supervisor and health standards.
• Handle special guest requests and spills as needed.
