The role requires physical ability to lift and move heavy furniture, strong attention to detail, and the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous banquet setup, hospitality, or event coordination experience is a plus.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy furniture and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow event diagrams or instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables, chairs, linens, and tableware based on event layout and instructions.
• Arrange decor, centerpieces, and signage as specified.
• Prepare audio-visual equipment, including microphones, projectors, and screens.
• Ensure the banquet area is clean and free of debris before and after events.
• Break down and store furniture, equipment, and decorations after events.
• Work with event coordinators and supervisors to understand setup requirements.
• Respond to last-minute changes or adjustments to layouts and event needs.
• Follow all safety guidelines for moving and arranging furniture and equipment.
