Job summary

The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation is hiring a Banquets Housecleaner / Set-up to prepare and break down tables, chairs, risers, podiums, and flags for meetings and banquets indoors and outdoors.

This non-exempt role begins with probationary status, up to 40 hours per week, with potential eligibility for benefits after probation. Overtime may apply under FLSA rules where directed by a supervisor.

Qualifications

• At least 3 months’ experience in a restaurant, banquet, or room set-up position.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions; read and comprehend a setup diagram.
• Able to meet guest expectations and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Break down, set up, and move tables, chairs, risers, podiums, and flags.
• Clean tables, chairs, podiums, floors inside and outside.
• Put linens on tables and refresh meeting rooms with supplies.
• Perform other duties to exceed guests' expectations.
