A leading hotel is seeking a Hotel Banquet Set Up Staff member to assist in setting up and breaking down event spaces. This role requires attention to detail, physical mobility, and the ability to work flexible hours, especially on weekends. Now Hiring – Hotel Banquet Set Up Staff
You excel in a fast-paced environment where every day is different and are energized with a passion to please others. Your sharp eye for detail quickly spots when something’s amiss and when guests have need. A valued team member who smoothly handles the complex and unexpected, you “get” that your contribution is vital to the event’s success. The candidate must be available on weekends.
As Banquet Set-Up, you will
• Set up and break down event space, ensuring set up according to the Banquet Event Order
• Assure guests' needs are attended to
• Attend to all public spaces throughout the event for a consistent, clean presentation
• Ensure supplies are available according to the Banquet Event Order and equipment is set up and functioning properly
• Keep track of event supplies and equipment, carefully store unused furnishings, and promptly report repair and maintenance needs.
Job Requirements
This position requires full mobility, continuous movement, and heavy lifting, up to 100 pounds occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently (moving furniture, equipment, staging, etc.
Must have an eye for detail, be a team player, and be willing to be flexible on hours, as this role can coincide with the hotel's events.
