Job summary

Montage International is seeking a Banquet Captain to lead and execute flawless banquet service in a luxury hotel environment. You will guide the setup and service, ensure guest satisfaction, and collaborate with teams to deliver exceptional events.

Qualifications

• One year minimum of experience in food & beverage operations within a hotel or resort environment.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Communicate, discuss, and direct pre and post event banquet setup needs.
• Be hands-on with banquet service.
• Attend meetings, improve processes, and develop relationships.
• Deliver on guests’ expectations and create WOW moments.
• Maintain high standards of service and attention to detail.
• Perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs.

Must Haves

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment
• One year minimum of experience in food and beverage operations within a hotel or resort environment
• Intermediate computer skills
• Luxury hotel experience, a plus

Physical Requirements

• Grasping, holding, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending over
• Ability to stand and exercise mobility for extended periods of time during your scheduled shift
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and for extended periods during the shift
• Ability to push and pull food serving equipment and carts weighing up to 200 pounds on a semi - regular basis
