Overview

POSITION PURPOSE

The purpose of this role is to manually set up, break down, and service all meeting rooms according to Pyramid Hotel Group's high standards. This includes collecting service ware and allocating it as per event orders to support functions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Communicate with the supervisor throughout the shift to stay informed of work requirements.
  • Set up all meeting rooms to guest specifications, involving physical activity to transport staging, tables, chairs, dance floors, etc., from storage to meeting rooms.
  • Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and fresh water.
  • Break down meeting rooms after events and return items to storage to prepare for the next function.
  • Replenish beverages as needed and check with guests for satisfaction.
  • Maintain cleanliness of meeting rooms and ballrooms to ensure they are presentable at all times.
  • Anticipate equipment needs based on event orders and count supplies accordingly.
  • Attend mandatory monthly departmental meetings.
  • Practice teamwork and adhere to 'Clean as you Go' policies.
  • Maintain regular attendance as per Pyramid Hotel Group standards.
