Job summary

HVMG is seeking a Banquet Server to help create memorable guest experiences during events, meetings, and banquets. You will set up and break down event spaces, serve food and beverages, and ensure every guest feels welcomed. A warm, professional demeanor and flexibility with schedule are essential.

Hotel experience is a plus, and opportunities for advancement exist across our nationwide portfolio. This role is on-site with flexible evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the United States
• Sufficient education and/or literacy needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and lift as required—with or without reasonable accommodations
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed

Responsibilities

• You will be an essential part of our hotel's special events, providing attentive and friendly service to our guests.
• Your daily tasks will include setting up and breaking down event spaces, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
• You will report to the Banquet Captain or Banquet Manager.
• A career as a banquet server can lead to opportunities in various roles within the hospitality industry, such as banquet captain, restaurant server, or even food and beverage management positions.
