Job summary

Renaissance Reno Hotel & Spa seeks a dynamic, service-oriented Banquet Server to join our team. You will deliver exemplary guest service at events across our property, on-site to ensure smooth service.

Responsibilities include taking accurate orders, monitoring food distribution, refreshing drinks, bussing tables, and supporting other duties to ensure flawless events and memorable experiences for guests and colleagues. Prior hotel/restaurant serving experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year in a hotel/restaurant serving role
• Food safety certification preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication and guest-service focus.

Responsibilities

• Take accurate food orders from guests and ensure buffet is stocked.
• Monitor food distribution to ensure correct delivery and presentation.
• Refresh drinks and assist with bussing tables.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support events.
• Collaborate with team to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take accurate food orders from guests and/or ensure buffet is stocked appropriately.
• Monitor food distribution, ensuring that meals are delivered to the correct recipients and that food is properly prepared and nicely presented and/or the buffet is appealing.
• Refreshes drinks
• Assists with bussing tables
• Perform various other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of High School education
• Minimum of one (1) year in hotel/restaurant serving role
• Food safety certification preferred
