Banquet Server Part-Time - Norfolk Waterside Marriott

We are hiring Banquet Servers! We seek individuals passionate about serving others. Our hotel hosts events such as receptions, meetings, trainings, and reunions, providing excellent exposure of our venue. We aim to shine at each event, encouraging positive word-of-mouth to attract more business. Therefore, we need a team focused on quality, service, and timeliness.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service to all customers.
• Greet guests and accommodate their needs at events.
• Communicate effectively with guests regarding menu questions.
• Deliver food and beverages from staging areas to guests.
• Assist other servers during peak times with food delivery and guest requests.
• Learn and practice buffet, plated, and reception-style meal services (training provided) to RCGR standards.
• Anticipate guest needs and monitor their dining experience to ensure satisfaction.
• Set up, execute, and clean up after events.
• Perform side work in preparation for upcoming events.
