Job summary

Hilton in Cedar Rapids is seeking a Banquet Server to brighten guests' day by delivering memorable hospitality during events and meals. You will greet guests, learn menu details, take and deliver orders via POS, and keep stations stocked and clean.

You will clear dishes, assist with banquet setup, and ensure health and safety standards are met. This role emphasizes teamwork, speed, and a warm, attentive demeanor throughout shifts.

Responsibilities

• Delight our guests by bringing an upbeat and friendly attitude to all interactions and proactively looking for ways to make their experience special.
• Learn the details of all menu items and specials so you can help guests and answer their questions with confidence.
• Take food and beverage orders, enter them into the point-of-sale system, and deliver completed orders promptly with attention to detail.
• Make sure the service station is always fully stocked, clean, and organized.
• Remove dishware, glassware, and silverware at the end of meal service and deliver them to the dishwashing area for cleaning.
• Assist with tasks such as cleaning, arranging and setting banquet tables, and restocking supplies to maintain a seamless event flow.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member well-being.
