The award-winning Forbes 4-Star and AAA 5-Diamond Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club is seeking a Banquet Server to join our team!

Located in the scenic coastal town of Dana Point, adjacent to Laguna Beach, this area is renowned for its laid-back vibe and active lifestyle.

The resort spans 175 acres atop a 150-foot seaside bluff, featuring over 400 rooms, 115,000 sq ft of indoor and outdoor meeting space, and 8 food and beverage outlets, including 4 restaurants, a beach club, lounge, marketplace, and in-room dining.

Classification: On Call

Shift: Various – must be available on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour, based on experience and location.

What will I be doing?

As a Banquet Server, you will deliver and serve food and beverages to guests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner, ensuring outstanding service and profitability. Responsibilities include:

1. Set banquet tables according to specifications
2. Deliver and serve food and beverages, including meals, condiments, and accompaniments
3. Maintain menu knowledge
4. Clear tables after meals and deliver items to stewarding
5. Ensure guest satisfaction throughout service
6. Respond promptly to guest requests
7. Assist team members and departments as needed
8. Perform side work such as cleaning, stocking, and folding silverware
