Function

The Banquet Server is responsible for ensuring all guests have a memorable experience in our event spaces. Each team member ensures the venue is clean, organized, and ready on time for each event. They follow instructions from our events leadership to ensure each guest is well taken care of during their event.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Take orders from patrons and serve them in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Perform responsible alcohol service, adhering to patron limitations and completing responsible alcohol service training if required.
• Carry serving trays full of dinner plates.
• Ensure the safety and security of team members and guests.
• Set up rooms according to the floor plan and banquet event order.
• Execute table settings, buffet setups, displays, and bar arrangements as per the banquet event order.
• Conduct cleanup and closing procedures for banquet spaces.
• Coordinate with F&B and Marketing teams to confirm event details and assist with day-of requests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Standards of Performance

• Maintain positive interpersonal relationships among personnel.
• Exhibit strong oral and written communication skills.
• Work flexible hours and handle high-pressure situations.
• Be available to work weekends, holidays, and nights as needed.

Education, Training, and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of prior work experience preferred.

Physical Demands

The physical requirements include frequently sitting or standing, walking, using hands to handle objects, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, and hearing. Lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs may be required. The noise level is usually moderate to loud. Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities.
