Job summary

The Banquet Server at Saracen Casino Resort provides outstanding service during banquet events and ensures proper set up and breakdown of event spaces. This on-call role is scheduled as business demands require, with hours varying and regular hours not guaranteed.

You will report to the Banquet & In Room Dining Manager and must uphold Saracen's policies, standards of hospitality, and guest satisfaction, while collaborating with kitchen staff and other team members to deliver flawless service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Previous banquet/service experience preferred in hotel or casino.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms and event spaces according to event specifications and standards.
• Serve food and beverages to guests during banquet events, ensuring accuracy and quality of orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of event spaces including setup and breakdown of tables, chairs, and service stations.
• Adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
• Assist in inventory management by reporting shortages of banquet supplies.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Address and resolve guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.

JOB SUMMARY

The Banquet Server is responsible for providing exceptional service during banquet events and ensuring proper set up and break down of event spaces This role operates on an on call basis and will be scheduled as business demands require Scheduling will vary and regular hours are not guaranteed This role requires adherence to Saracen Casino Resorts policies and procedures as well as maintaining the highest standards of hospitality and service Will report to Banquet & In Room Dining Manager

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide outstanding customer service to all patrons communicating in a pleasant friendly and professional mannerSet up banquet rooms and event spaces according to event specifications and standardsServe food and beverages to guests during banquet events ensuring accuracy and quality of ordersMaintain cleanliness and organization of event spaces including set up and break down of tables chairs and service stationsAdhere to regulatory departmental and company policies in an ethical mannerEnsure the highest degree of customer satisfaction during eventsAssist in inventory management by reporting shortages of banquet suppliesCollaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure efficient service deliveryAddress and resolve any guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionallyAttend all necessary training meetingsAssist in other projects as directed by the Banquet and In Room Dining Ops ManagerDuties responsibilities requirements and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed Hours are determined by a 24 hour scheduleOutstanding example of and a credit to Saracen Casino Resort
