Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation is seeking on-call Event Servers in Kansas City, MO. You will ensure the event space is visually appealing, present menu offerings, assist with linen and table settings, design food stations, and provide beverage service.

The role also includes general banquet prep, room refreshes, and maintaining sanitation throughout shifts. Applicants should have two years of F&B serving experience, open Friday/Saturday availability, and strong knowledge of service standards,

Qualifications

• Two years previous food and beverage serving experience required.
• Open availability on Friday and Saturday evenings.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.
• Working knowledge of the appropriate table settings, service-ware, and menu items.
• Ability to read, speak, write and understand English sufficiently to understand menus, special promotions, and communicate with guests to explain and record orders.

Job Overview

Qualifications

• Ability to transport large trays weighing up to 50lbs through a crowded room on a continuous basis throughout the shift.
• Ability to operate beverage and toast equipment.
• Ability to stand, walk, and continuously perform essential functions for an extended period of time.
