Job summary

Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa in Austin, TX is seeking banquet servers to provide food and drink service at hotel events. You will help set up tables, assist with food preparation, and deliver meals from the kitchen to the banquet hall.

You will serve appetizers and plated dinners, refill beverages, keep the station clean, and maintain a sanitary environment. A flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends and holidays is required to support events.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at scheduled start time in appropriate uniform and ready to work.
• Uniform must be neat and pressed.
• Keeps work station clean at all times.
• Set up tables and banquet hall before the event
• Assist with food preparation before and during the event
• Serve appetizers and plated dinners to guests
• Deliver food from the kitchen to the banquet hall in a timely manner
• Serve and refill alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Willing to work flexible schedule weekdays, weekends and holidays

Banquet servers are responsible for food and drink service at hotel banquet functions. They make sure function space visually appealing and present the menu offering for the event. This may include linen and table setting, food station design, and beverage service. Other duties include general banquet preparation, room refreshes, and maintaining a sanitary environment.
