What you’ll do:

The Brass Tacks

  • Serve food and beverage items to guests in accordance with established standards
  • Set rooms before and after events
  • Assemble food items, such as appetizers, salads, and soups on buffets
  • Ensure attractive, consistent presentation of food and beverages. Ensure that all food and beverage items are served at the correct temperature
  • Maintain current knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including menu changes and sold-out items
  • Keep work area, including guest dining area, clean and organized

The Nitty Gritty

  • Previous experience as a server in a banquet environment preferred
  • Ability to perform essential functions for setting the room including lifting, bending, serving tables, chairs, and trays
  • Working knowledge of dining and beverage service procedures
  • Working knowledge of applicable liquor laws and regulations
  • Necessary State Food Handler’s License(s) and Liquor Serving Permit(s)

Kitsap Conference Center at Bremerton Harborside offers 17,000 square feet of meeting and event space on the waterfront of Bremerton, Washington. Just a short ferry ride from Seattle, Kitsap Conference Center offers an unsurpassed standard of excellence for your meetings, conferences, trade shows, social events, reunions, and weddings in Washington State. The conference center's recent expansion added five flexible function rooms on the third floor for additional meeting and event space with spectacular views and even more opportunities to host multiple day meetings with breakouts, and memorable weddings.

With an ideal waterfront location and sweeping views of Sinclair Inlet, the venue comfortably accommodates up to 700 guests and offers easy access to Bremerton hotels. The outdoor water fountains and plaza highlight the conference center's marina setting, making it the most unique venue in Kitsap County.
