Job summary

Léal Hospitality Group is seeking a part-time Banquet Server in Morgan Hill, CA to deliver warm, attentive service at events across properties. You will set up banquet areas, serve meals, replenish stations, and maintain a clean, safe environment for guests and team members.

Key duties include following the BEO timeline, coordinating with catering staff, and ensuring high guest satisfaction through professional communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be flexible to work a varying schedule including weekends, evenings, holidays, and extended hours.
• Maintain a professional and polished appearance per dress code.
• Must possess and maintain a California Food Handler Certificate.
• Must possess and maintain a California Responsible Beverage Serving Certificate.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Able to use time tracking software and POS systems.
• Work well in a team and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly with a professional greeting and service.
• Work in FOH and BOH to provide hospitality to all guests.
• Communicate professionally with FOH/BOH staff including management.
• Serve plated meals, replenish buffet offerings, and refill beverages.
• Set up service stations and perform assigned side work.
• Assist in clean up, teardown, and maintaining a safe, organized environment.
• Review banquet event orders (BEO) and follow event timelines.
• Coordinate with catering staff on guest needs and requests.
• Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol policy guidelines.
