Embassy Suites Anchorage is seeking a Banquet Server who can create memorable dining experiences for guests and ensure smooth service during events. You will deliver attentive, friendly hospitality and work with hotel staff to meet guest expectations.

Applicants should have food handling or serving experience, the ability to stand for long periods, and availability for evenings, weekends and holidays. Flexible schedules and comprehensive benefits are offered to full-time associates.

Qualifications

• Experience in food handling, fast food or serving required.
• Must obtain a Food Handler’s Permit; Alcohol Server's Permit may be required.
• Ability to read, write, type and use basic technology.
• Stand and move around for an entire shift and lift at least 25 pounds.
• Applicants must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Serve restaurant and room service guests attentively and efficiently.
• Maintain knowledge of the menu and adapt to guest requests.
• Apply problem solving skills to resolve guest issues to their satisfaction.
• Complete guest orders and accurately collect payments.
• Assist with quality, cleanliness and organization of the restaurant and kitchen.
• Assist with inventory, ordering and receiving of all food and beverage items.
• Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.
