Job summary

Hard Rock Hotel Cancun is seeking a dedicated Banquet Server to support all banquet events, from staging and setup to breakdown and service. You will deliver beverages, plated meals, and hors d’oeuvres while maintaining a high standard of guest satisfaction and professionalism.

The role requires familiarity with event menus, attention to detail, and a willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. A secondary school degree is preferred and English fluency is essential.

Qualifications

• Secondary school degree preferred and/or previous work experience in service for at least 2 years.
• Ability to comprehend and use basic language, either written or spoken, to communicate information and ideas.
• Fluency in English; additional languages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down banquet staging areas.
• Set up, replenish, and break down coffee breaks, receptions, buffets, and plated events.
• Ensure sequence of service is followed for all guests.
• Serve beverages including coffee, tea, cocktails, and wine.
• Serve plated meals and passed hors d’oeuvres.
• Maintain guest satisfaction at all events.
