JOB SUMMARY

As a Server, you are responsible for serving and providing meals and beverages to visitors while providing a high level of customer care to each guest. You will also communicate with guests, answering questions, and conveying general information about the island.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Job duties include, although are not limited to:

Deliver excellent customer service and engage with guests

Prepare food and drink orders accurately and timely to ensure guest satisfaction

Accurately enter orders into the Point-of-Sale system

Proper cash handling procedures

Knowledge and understanding of food and drink specials and menu offerings

Set up and break down of service area for the shift

Support Banquets in server duties and support

Other duties as assigned

PAY TRANSPARENCY

The pay scale for this position is $25.00 per hour. The pay is the hourly rate includes gratuities.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 18 years old
• RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) Certificate required
• Commitment to delivering exceptional service
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Mathematically able to add, subtract, divide, and multiply
• Exceptional cash handling skills

WORK ENVIRONMENT/ PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Our workplace is clean, lighted and ventilated with proper safety compliance. Noise levels are considered medium and daily physical activities are considered moderate. Employees must have the stamina to work long hours if assigned. Hours and days of work may vary by position. Most work tasks are performed indoors and outdoors. Temperature is moderate and controlled by hotel environmental systems. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks. Must bephysically able to lift and carry heavy trays and equipment, up to 50 lbs. Also, you must bephysically able to walk without assistance on various surfaces for an extended period of time. This positionrequires manual dexterity, grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, and climbing.

SCHEDULE

This position requires a flexible schedule with shifts that consist of a rotating schedule of weekday and weekends shifts, including day, night, and holiday work hours.
