We’re seeking energetic and reliable Banquet Server to join our team at the Atlantic Oceanside Hotel and Event Center. This part-time seasonal position is perfect for someone who enjoys fast-paced environments, teamwork, and helping create unforgettable events for our guests.

While we are primarily looking for a bartender, it’s important to note that this role will also involve serving duties during events as needed. Flexibility is key to supporting the success of weddings, corporate functions, and special events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate portable bars at events

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and company standards

• Ensure all guests are served responsibly in accordance with Maine liquor laws

• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area

• Assist with event setup, including tables, chairs, linens, and place settings

• Provide food and beverage service to guests when bartending is not required

• Refill buffet stations and assist with plated meal service as needed

• Clear plates, glassware, and utensils efficiently

• Break down and reset event spaces after functions

• Deliver courteous, professional service at all times

Skills & Requirements:

• Depending on the assigned property, duties may vary, and workers may rotate between properties and roles

• Banquet Server/Bartenders primarily bartend but also assist with serving responsibilities as needed

• Tasks may include, but are not limited to:

  • Setting up and breaking down bar areas and event spaces

  • Preparing and serving a variety of drinks

  • Monitoring alcohol consumption and practicing responsible service

  • Setting up buffets and replenishing food stations

  • Clearing and cleaning tables and service areas

  • Moving banquet equipment and furniture

  • Emptying trash and assisting with event clean-up

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, move banquet/bar equipment, and be on your feet for extended periods

• Current Maine ServSafe Alcohol certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire) preferred

• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent customer service skills

• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
