Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a friendly food and beverage attendant to greet guests, take and deliver orders, and ensure a clean dining area. You will utilize a computerized guest check system, process payments, and deliver meals from the kitchen to tables or venues.

Successful candidates will maintain professionalism, balance trays, and provide attentive service in a fast-paced environment. This role is on-site in Opelousas, LA, with opportunities for growth within Boyd Gaming's

• Receive and serve food and beverage orders from guests using a computerized guest check system.
• Greet and communicate with guests in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Retrieve prepared orders from the kitchen and deliver to guests.
• Carry and balance trays and push carts of food and beverages through the dining area.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining room and service stations.
• Present checks to guests and collect payment or hand off to a cashier.

Position Description:

Receive and serve food and beverage orders from guests. May also be responsible for collecting payment and making change for guest checks.

Greet and communicate with guests in a friendly, courteous manner.

Receive and process food and beverage orders from guests utilizing a computerized guest check system.

Retrieves prepared orders from kitchen area and delivers to guests.

Carry and balance trays and/or push cart of food and beverages through kitchen and dining room (approximately 20 to 30 pounds).

Maintain cleanliness of all areas of the dining room.

Present check to guest. Collects payment and/or deliver to cashier.
