Job Summary

The Banquet Server is responsible for setting up banquet events, carrying trays, serving guests, and assisting event cleanup to ensure the needs of the client are met.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Daily set‑up and breakdown of food and beverage products for catered events.
• Food preparation for daily activities and scheduled events.
• Serving food and beverage product to event participants, vendors, and host clients.
• Assist with event coordination; table set‑ups, place settings, serving areas and discarded products.
• Assist with event clean up; on‑site or off‑site, all plates, dishes, silverware, glassware, linens, chairs, and garbage.
• Assist with moving catering products back to catering kitchen.
• Print food and product labels and signage for buffets.
• Maintain participation awareness of upcoming catering events and event orders.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance and uniform.
• Communicate effectively with guests and managers to handle last minute requests.
• Communicate effectively with Catering Director and Chefs; assist when needed.
• Due to the nature of our business, team members are expected to be available and work weekends, late evenings, and holidays, as needed.
