Hotel Bardo Savannah, part of LEFT LANEHospitality Group, LLC, is seeking a full-time Banquet Server to join our Food & Beverage team and help bring Savannah’s memorable events to life.

The role involves setting up spaces, delivering warm service for weddings, meetings, and private events, and coordinating with the culinary and events teams to ensure flawless guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous banquet, catering, full‑service restaurant, or upscale hospitality experience preferred.
• Genuine hospitality mindset and confidence interacting with guests.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Organized and able to stay composed during busy events.
• Professional appearance and personal responsibility.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform banquet tasks.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet and event spaces according to plans and standards.
• Provide warm, professional service for weddings, meetings, celebrations, and events.
• Learn event details and service expectations to guide guest experience.
• Serve plated meals, buffets, receptions, and beverages with timing and presentation.
• Collaborate with Banquet Captains, culinary, bartenders, and servers.
• Anticipate guest needs, respond to requests, and handle changes calmly.
• Assist with breakdown, resetting, and maintaining clean event spaces.
• Follow food safety, alcohol service, sanitation and safety standards.

About the role

Hotel Bardo Savannah is seeking a full-time Banquet Server to join our Food & Beverage team and help bring some of Savannah’s most memorable events to life.

From weddings and celebrations to corporate gatherings and private dinners, our Banquet Servers are part of the team responsible for turning a carefully planned event into an exceptional guest experience. This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys great hospitality, works well as part of a team, and understands that the details matter — from a beautifully set table to the timing of each course.

The right person is approachable, dependable, comfortable engaging with guests, and ready to jump in wherever needed to make an event successful.

What you'll do

• Set up banquet and event spaces according to event plans and Hotel Bardo service standards
• Provide warm, professional food and beverage service throughout weddings, meetings, celebrations, and private events
• Learn event details and service expectations so you can confidently guide the guest experience
• Serve plated meals, buffets, receptions, and beverage service with strong attention to timing and presentation
• Work closely with Banquet Captains, culinary teams, bartenders, and fellow servers to keep events running smoothly
• Anticipate guest needs, respond quickly to requests, and handle changes with professionalism
• Assist with breakdown, resetting, and maintaining clean, organized event spaces
• Follow food safety, alcohol service, sanitation, and workplace safety standards

Qualifications

• Previous banquet, catering, full‑service restaurant, or upscale hospitality experience preferred
• A genuine hospitality mindset and confidence interacting with guests
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
• Ability to stay organized and composed during busy, high‑volume events
• Professional appearance and a strong sense of personal responsibility
• Ability to be on your feet for extended periods and safely perform the physical requirements of banquet service
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the event schedule
• Reliable attendance and punctuality — banquet service depends on the entire team being ready when the event begins
