Job summary

San Marcos Embassy Suites by Atrium Hospitality in San Marcos, TX is seeking a Banquet Server to support events and guest experiences. You will set up and break down banquet spaces, serve meals and beverages with attention to timing and presentation, and maintain clean banquet areas throughout events.

You will assist guests with requests, adhere to food safety standards, and contribute to a welcoming, high-quality event environment aligned with Atrium Hospitality’s service culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months serving experience for medium to large groups.
• Food Safety certification or complete training within first 90 days.
• Alcohol certification or complete training within first 90 days.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend and stand for extended periods.
• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down event spaces per Banquet Event Orders, including linens, settings and A/V equipment.
• Serve food and beverages with focus on timing, presentation and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain clean, organized banquet areas throughout the event cycle.
• Manage guest needs with professionalism, supporting the event contact throughout the function.
• Follow food safety, sanitation and company policies to ensure a safe environment.

Compensation Range : $15.50/hour
