Job summary

Omni Hotels & Resorts in Pittsburgh is hiring a Banquet Server to support wedding and corporate events. You will perform banquet side-work, ensure service standards, and attend to guests’ needs during functions.

Qualifications include RAMP and ServSafe certifications; you will work under the Banquet Captain and Banquet Manager, with strict adherence to liquor liability laws and safety guidelines.

• Efficiently and properly perform all service standards.
• Attend to all needs of the guests during functions and function related duties.
• Report to Banquet Manager any need for housekeeping and/or repairs of and banquet equipment.
• Assist in the upkeep and organization of all liquor liability laws.
• Must be familiar with and adhere to all liquor liability laws.
• Must attend all designated pre-meal meetings.

  • Coffee maker/urn, toaster, microwave, beverage machines, bus trays, dishware, silverware, glassware, queen-mary cart, telephone, pen/pencil

  Working Environment:

  • Interior of hotel, in the restaurant, lounge and kitchen areas, with exposure to extreme temperatures.
  • Exposure to Food and Beverage hazardous cleaning chemicals.
  • Exposure to food items and beverages.
  • Ability to bend to lower level cabinets and banquet storage room

Must present RAMP and ServSafe certifications upon hire

$7.63 + Gratuity first 3 months, $8.06 + Gratuity after 3 months and $8.48 + Gratuity after 6 months.
