Job summary

El Chorro Lodge, located in Paradise Valley, AZ, seeks a guest-focused hospitality professional for on-call events. You will help deliver seamless service from setup through final departure, creating memorable experiences for weddings, corporate events, and celebrations.

Ideal candidates have high-volume banquet experience, county certifications, and a professional appearance. This role offers the chance to grow in a fast-paced, connected team known for genuine hospitality.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Maricopa County Food Service Worker Certification and Arizona Title IV Alcohol Certification.
  • One year of high-volume food, beverage, banquet, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Maricopa County food regulations and applicable state, federal, and company liquor regulations.
  • Basic knowledge of table settings, banquet service standards, and service etiquette.
  • The ability to lift and carry trays weighing up to 40 pounds through active, crowded event spaces.

Responsibilities

  • Set up banquet rooms and event spaces as directed by the Director of Banquets, General Manager, or Banquet Captain.
  • Complete assigned side work and ensure function areas are polished, stocked, and ready for service.
  • Attend pre-shift, pre-function, and service team meetings prepared and engaged.
  • Welcome guests warmly, respond promptly to requests, and anticipate needs with thoughtful, attentive service.
  • Serve and clear food and beverage courses according to the Banquet Event Order and direction from the Banquet Captain or Director of Banquets.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting ballroom or function area throughout each event.
  • Provide service maintenance during programs, ensuring guests and event hosts have everything they need.
  • Break down, clean, and reset event spaces following guest departure and event closing.
  • Support bartending needs as assigned, including responsible beverage service and event setup, service, and cleanup.

What You’ll Do
