Job summary

Aronimink Golf Club is seeking experienced, service-driven individuals to join our Service Team as a Banquet Server. You will deliver food and beverages to guests in a world-class environment, coordinating with banquet captains and kitchen staff.

We offer training, uniforms, staff meals, and opportunities to enjoy employee golf days. This part-time role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, with typical shifts lasting 8–10 hours.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Reliable, punctual, and polished in appearance, ready to work in full uniform.
• Able to stand for long periods, walk, lift up to 25 lbs. independently (and more with assistance).
• Flexible and available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverage orders from the kitchen or service stations to guests promptly, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards.
• Communicate effectively with banquet captains, servers, and kitchen staff for smooth event service.
• Adapt to plated dinners, buffets, receptions, and high-volume banquet events.
• Assist with setting, clearing, and resetting tables to maintain banquet room readiness.
• Provide support to teammates by refilling water, carrying trays, replenishing buffets, and completing side work.
• Anticipate guest needs with attentiveness and professionalism for a memorable experience.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and stock in service stations and work areas.
• Uphold food safety, sanitation, and service standards in all banquet service aspects.
• Participate in pre-event meetings, training, and post-event breakdowns.

Aronimink Golf Club is a private Platinum Golf Club, located just outside of Philadelphia in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania. The Club has a rich history dating back to 1896. One of the premier golf clubs in America, we are currently ranked as a Top 10 Platinum Golf Club in America. Aronimink Golf Club is set to hold the prestigious 2026 PGA Championship in May 2026.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver food and beverage orders from the kitchen or service stations to guests promptly, ensuring accuracy, proper service etiquette, and presentation standards are met.
• Communicate effectively with banquet captains, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth and coordinated event service.
• Adapt to a variety of service styles, including plated dinners, buffets, receptions, and high-volume banquet events.
• Assist with setting, clearing, and resetting tables to maintain banquet room readiness before, during, and after service.
• Provide support to fellow team members by refilling water, carrying trays, replenishing buffets, and completing side work as assigned.

• Prior food service or hospitality experience preferred, but not required – we provide training.
• Committed to service excellence and creating memorable dining experiences.

Job Types: Part-Time

Salary: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
