General Description of Duties

To assist food and beverage service, guest attention, and banquet logistics through set-up, clear communication, and teamwork, while maintaining the company’s standards for excellence, ensuring the success of banquet events.

Reporting Relationship

This position reports to the Banquet Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Uphold the highest level of customer service
• Maintain a friendly and approachable attitude towards guests and staff
• Maintain a professional appearance and manner
• Assist with setup of tables, linens, chairs, etc., for banquet events
• Provide excellent food and beverage service
• Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures
• Work with a sense of urgency on the service floor
• Handle back of house, front of house, and side work duties for overall productivity
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude
• Seek guidance from management when needed
• Complete all other assigned duties
• Ensure clear communication among staff for event success
• Follow health and safety practices
