Job summary

The Ridges Resort in Georgia is seeking a part-time Banquet Server to provide exceptional service at weddings, conferences, and events. You will set up banquet spaces, coordinate with kitchen and bar staff, and ensure guest satisfaction through attentive, friendly service.

Candidates should be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work weekends/evenings. A high standard of presentation and teamwork is required to maintain our event standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms per event specifications.

Summary of PositionThis position is responsible for serving food and beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner. Adheres to all health regulations and local liquor laws. According to function specifications, sets up, maintains, and takes down banquet rooms after service/event has concluded. Ensures exceptional guest service and creates an inviting atmosphere. A dress code is required.Physical DemandsStanding on your feet for most or all of your shift is often required. The lifting of supplies and equipment that may exceed 50 lbs could also be required. Bending down, kneeling, crouching, squatting, and pushing are other physical demands that may be required of you.
