Job summary

The Denver Athletic Club is seeking an on-call banquet server/bartender to join our team. You will prepare events, follow food and beverage handling procedures, and deliver excellent service to members and guests.

Responsibilities include inspecting and maintaining the bar before shifts, assisting with cleanup, and taking on other tasks as directed by the supervisor. Must be available weekends and some holidays; TIPS certification required; ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Banquet experience and at least one year of bartending experience.
• TIPS certification is required for this role.
• Candidate must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare events and service areas, following proper food and beverage handling procedures.
• Provide excellent service to members and guests.
• Inspect the bar prior to shift opening and maintain it throughout the shift.
• Assist with cleaning up and completing other tasks requested by supervisor.

The Denver Athletic Club is looking for an on-call banquet server/bartender to join the team!

WHAT is the job

Banquet Server! You will be responsible for preparing events, following proper food and beverage handling procedures, providing excellent service to members and guests, inspecting the bar prior to the shift opening, maintaining the bar, cleaning up, and other work assignments requested by your supervisor.

WHERE is the job

1325 Glenarm Place in downtown Denver. The Denver Athletic Club is across the street from the Colorado Convention Center, 2 blocks from the 16th Street Mall and a 3-minute walk from Civic Center Park.

WHEN you would work

We are looking for a candidate with open availability, 7 days per week. You must be available to work on the weekends and some holidays (Easter, Mother's Day are annual events, other events occur throughout the year that the Banquet Captain must be available for).

WHO we are looking for

The ideal candidate must have Banquet experience and at least one year of bartending experience. TIPS certification is a must! You should be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
