Job description

General Description

The Banquet Server serves food and drinks to guests during banquet events, following established guidelines, procedures, and policies for food and beverage safety as prescribed by company standards. The server interacts with guests and staff in a cordial, efficient, and professional manner. They may also assist with setting up and breaking down the banquet room before and after events.

Pay Rate:

$16 per hour

Education and Qualifications
  • High school diploma (advanced education or coursework preferred)
  • At least one year of experience in a restaurant setting; previous banquet experience is a plus
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work a flexible schedule that includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Provide the highest quality of service to guests at all times
  • Stay current on emergency procedures and act accordingly
  • Wear proper uniform and name tag in accordance with appearance standards
  • Attend department meetings
  • Follow all work rules, procedures, and policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
  • Possess fluent English speaking and writing skills, good time management, and maintain professional dress, speech, and behavior
