Best Western Royal Plaza, Marlborough, MA is seeking a prep cook to support banquet meal preparation. You’ll prepare ingredients, follow recipes, assist the chef, and help maintain a clean, organized workstation.

Responsibilities include labeling and organizing ingredients, ensuring food safety, and using broilers, steamers, grills and fryers efficiently. Flexibility for weekends and holidays is required.

Competenze

• Food handler’s card holder and safe food handling knowledge.
• Able to work varied shifts including weekends/holidays.
• Ideally 1+ year of food preparation experience.
• Properly store dry goods and refrigerated items to prevent waste.
• Maintain a positive environment while meeting guest needs.

• Food Preparation: As a prep cook, you’ll be responsible for preparing ingredients and ensuring they are ready for cooking during banquets.
• Assisting the Chef: You’ll work closely with the head chef following instructions and contributing to the overall success of the event.
