Job summary

Levy Restaurants is seeking a Banquet Operations Manager to lead planning and execution of all in-house catered events at the Thomas M. Menino Convention and Exhibition Center. You will work closely with catering, sales, and culinary teams to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in catering or banquet management and strong communication skills. A flexible schedule and ability to handle physical demands are required.

Job Summary

The Banquet Operations Manager leads the planning and execution of all in-house catered events at the Thomas M. Menino Convention and Exhibition Center. Working closely with catering, sales, and culinary teams, this role ensures seamless operations, exceptional guest experiences, and high-quality event delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Operations

• Execute events, menus, and guest requests with strong attention to detail

• Maintain safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards
• Plan and manage inventory, equipment, and operational needs

Requirements

• 1–2 years of catering or banquet management experience
• Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills
• Ability to work flexible schedules and meet physical job demands

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher
• 1-2 years of fine dining or operations management experience
• Food, beverage, and wine knowledge
• ServSafe certification, Food Handler & Alcohol
