Schulte Hospitality Group at the DoubleTree by Hilton Riverfront in Jacksonville is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Banquet Manager to lead the hotel's banquet operations and drive guest satisfaction. You will oversee event setup, scheduling, budgeting, and staff development, while partnering with the Catering Sales Manager to grow banquet revenue and uphold service standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or related fields preferred.
• At least two years' experience as a Banquet Manager or supervising a banquet/F&B team.
• Flexible schedule, highly motivated and quality driven.
• Detail oriented and able to multi-task; lead by example.
• Cash handling and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve budgeted food, beverage and labor costs.
• Control costs and quality of service to maximize profitability.
• Prepare and timely complete BEOs.
• Produce weekly banquet staff schedules based on business levels and budgets.
• Supervise daily operation of meeting/banquet set-ups and service.
• Complete Banquet Bar Requisitions and follow purchasing procedures.
• Maintain records for inventory, labor and food cost.
• Assist in menu planning and pricing; ensure services meet customer specs.
• Ensure room setups meet expectations; brief staff before events; turn rooms around promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and overall hotel maintenance participation.
• Collaborate with Catering Sales Manager to grow banquet revenue; assist with show rounds.
• Check staff attitude and appearance; ensure training and development of Banquets team.
• Conduct annual performance reviews and ongoing training and mentoring.
