Trump National Golf Club, Washington, D.C. is seeking a full-time Banquet Operations Manager to lead all aspects of event planning and service on site.

You will coordinate with members and clients, supervise banquet staff, train and schedule, and collaborate with kitchen to deliver timely, high-quality food and beverage experiences. The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 50 hours per week due to business demand.
• Weekend and holiday work required.
• Experience in restaurant/banquets or hospitality management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• ServSafe Manager certification and TIPS training required.

Responsibilities

Duties

• Oversee all aspects of banquet operations, including planning, organizing, and executing events with in the Trump National Golf Club premises
• Coordinate with members and clients to understand their needs and ensure a seamless event experience
• Manage banquet staff, including training, scheduling and any other additional management duties.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food handling and service
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to create menus and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages
• Maintain inventory of banquet supplies and equipment
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly
• Monitor event budgets and expenses to ensure profitability
• Established a team oriented environment with staff and management team
• Must be able to multitask and administrative proficient

Requirements

• Bilingual is a plus
• Must be able to work a minimum of (50) hours per week due to business demand requirements
• Will be required to work weekends and holidays
• Will be required to work Morning, Midand Evenings shifts
• Previous experience in restaurant/Banquets or hospitality management
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and banquet service standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training banquet staff
• Familiarity with bar tending and beverage service is a plus
• Proficient in Google Work Space for event planning and budgeting
• Servsafe Manager certification and TIPS training certification is a requirement
