Job summary

Wind Creek Hospitality seeks a Kitchen Worker to support the restaurant program by cleaning dishware, glassware, cooking equipment and utensils, and assisting with food preparation under the Culinary Team leadership.

Candidates should meet basic requirements, including a High School diploma or GED, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a smoke-influenced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within six months from start date as a condition of continued employment.
• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Willingness and ability to bend, squat and lift up to 50 lbs on a regular and frequent basis.
• Ability to adequately and successfully perform all aspects of this position.
• Must possess a high level of maturity, dependability, and punctuality.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Willing to work odd and irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required.
• Must have a Tribal Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this position.
• Must have willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environment.

• Ensures that all applicable operating policies and procedures are adhered to at all times without deviation and be extremely knowledgeable of Minimum Internal Control Standards and Fiscal Policies and Procedures
