The New York Hilton Midtown is seeking a temporary Banquet Houseperson to join our team. Located in the heart of NYC, our hotel offers over 1800 rooms and is close to attractions like Central Park, Radio City Music Hall, MOMA, and Broadway. Our front desk provides tips, tickets, and travel assistance around the city.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, full availability for varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays, and experience working at a large property.

Shift Pattern:

Full availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Pay Range:

$29.15 - $38.87 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness of banquet, meeting, and conference areas to meet standards.
• Perform cleaning duties including restrooms, floors, carpets, trash removal, and supply management.
• Ensure equipment is in working order and report defects.
• Project a professional image to guests and team members.
• Assist back-of-house team as needed.
• Lift and push banquet equipment.
• Assist with setup for Food and Beverage functions.
• Manage setup related to functions efficiently and timely.
• Lift/pull/push at least 50 pounds.
• Follow hotel security, fire regulations, and health and safety laws.
• Attend training sessions provided by the hotel.
