Qualifications

Where You'll Make an Impact:

  1. Set up event space in a timely and safe fashion according to instructions/details outlined on Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and floor plans; chairs, tables, linen, displays, etc.
  2. Refresh meeting rooms during scheduled breaks or upon request.
  3. Breakdown and clean-up of event space in a timely and safe fashion.
  4. Storage and organization of banquets equipment.
  5. Other duties as assigned.

Skills to Help You Succeed:

  1. Ability to read and follow instructions from Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
  2. Familiar with various types of room set ups (classroom, rounds, hollow square, etc.).
  3. Ability to keep up with a fast paced environment, and accommodate last minute changes.
  4. Flexible work schedule; hours and shifts will vary.

Must-Haves:

  1. Education: A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
  2. Experience: Two – three years of banquet houseperson experience is preferred.
  3. You will be exposed to an alcohol and smoking environment and must be able to work in such environment.
  4. Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Louisiana Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity as may be required to perform assigned duties, or as required by Live’s operating standards.

Physical Requirements:

  1. Ability to lift at least 75lbs or more at times.
  2. Roll at least 10 banquet chairs at a time.
  3. Physically fit, able to stand/walk/move for extended hours.
