Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking a hotel services associate responsible for manually setting up, breaking down, and servicing all meeting rooms to Crescent’s standards of quality. A sign-on bonus of $500 is offered, with compensation of $18.00 per hour.

The role requires a flexible schedule that includes weekends and evenings, and involves significant physical activity as rooms are prepared and reset for each function.

• Set up meeting rooms according to guest specifications, including transporting materials from storage to rooms.
• Stock meeting rooms with clean glasses and fresh water as needed.
• Break down rooms after meetings and return items to storage for the next function.
• Maintain cleaning schedules for meeting rooms and ballrooms to keep spaces presentable.
• Adhere to attendance rules and be available on a regular basis.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Job Overview

Essential Job Functions

• Communicate with manager throughout shift to be aware of the work.
• Set up all meeting rooms to the specifications of the guest. This includes considerable physical activity in transporting awkward and heavy materials such as staging, tables, chairs, dancefloors, etc., from storage area to meeting rooms
• Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and fresh water.
• Break down all meeting rooms where meetings have concluded and return to storage closet so the room will be available to be reset for the next function.
• Maintain established cleaning schedule of meeting rooms and ballrooms so the rooms stay presentable at all times.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
